NAPOLCOM kicks-off 27th NCPW Celebration


On September 1, 2021, VCEO Vitaliano N. Aguirre II of NAPOLCOM graced the simultaneous nationwide Kick-Off Ceremony of 27th National Crime Prevention Week (NCPW) Celebration with the theme, “Komunidad at Pamahalaan ay Magtulungan: Krimen, Korapsyon at Pandemya Labanan.”

The National Police Commission – Regional Office No. 1 headed by Atty. Monday R Samson, Regional Director, actively participated said activity through video teleconferencing utilizing Zoom Application. Said activity was spearheaded by the NAPOLCOM Central Office.

Commissioner Zenonida F. Brosas enthused during her welcome remarks and we quote, “We will continue to work, we will continue to live our lives, and we will continue to dream that we will have a better normal.”

VCEO Vitaliano N. Aguirre II mentioned “The pandemic has brought to forefront the many challenges facing our criminal justice system and has underscored the need for effective and integrated responses of agencies.” After which, he formally declared the opening of 27th NCPW Celebration.

The ceremony highlighted the conduct of “Pito Tayo Laban sa Krimen” led by Comr. Felizardo M. Serapio Jr. represented by CPCS Director Donna Lyn Caparas.

This year’s NCPW celebration focuses on strengthening community and government partnership to fight crime and corruption during the pandemic as well as promote the ideals and principles of Community and Service-Oriented Policing (CSOP) System.
