NAPOLCOM RO1 initiates Webinar on Checkpoint Rules and Guidelines
In pursuance to its commitment in professionalizing the police service and enhancing the knowledge and competencies of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders, the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Regional Office No. 1 conducted the Webinar on Checkpoint Rules and Guidelines on March 7-11, 2022 through video teleconferencing utilizing Zoom application.
This program aimed to enhance professional competencies of Police Officers and other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders in their area of responsibility.
On March 7, 2022, PMaj Gerardo A Antonio, Chief Public Safety Section/Internal Security, Operations Section, Regional Operations Division, Police Regional Office 1, discussed the Implementation of Checkpoint Rules and Guidelines.
On March 8 2022, Atty. Michael Franks Sarmiento, Election Officer IV, Commission on Election, Dagupan City, presented the Regulations and Commission on Election (COMELEC) Issuances relevant to Law Enforcement.
On March 9, 2022, Mr. Aureliano F. Rulloda III, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, talked about the Provincial Rules on Checkpoint.
The participants were also given an activity through our Online Learning Hub (napolcomro1.com). Participants were issued Certificate of Completion with 40 cumulative training hours.
The webinar was actively participated by 59 personnel of various government agencies broken down as follows: two (2) PNP members from Police Regional Office 1, five (5) from Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office, three (3) from Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office, three (3) from La Union Police Provincial Office, 28 from Pangasinan Police Provincial Office, 10 from Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, 1 from Bureau of Fire Protection Regional Office 1 and seven (7) from Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
